    Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Colorado, updated the base entry sign to reflect its name in honor of the new military branch, the U.S. Space Force on Oct. 16, 2021. Cheyenne Mountain SFS changed its name earlier this year, July 26, 2021, along with Peterson and Schriever Space Force Bases.
