    In 1979, President Jimmy Carter proclaimed the third Friday in September to be POW/MIA Recognition Day to honor those who have made extraordinary sacrifices as prisoners of war and those still missing in action.

  • Medic-X Training

    Members from the 21st Medical Group and the 21st Security Forces Squadron recently partnered with the 302nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron to conduct Medic-X training, where they practiced patient on-loading and off-loading from aircraft.

    Schriever Space Force Base held a ceremony June 21, 2023, to celebrate both the 40th anniversary of the groundbreaking for Falcon Air Force Station and the 25th anniversary of the renaming of the installation to Schriever Air Force Base, which in 2021 was renamed to Schriever Space Force Base.
