The Golden Knight recipient for June is the 21st Security Forces Squadron plans and programs branch.

Team members include Senior Master Sgt. Shaun Guilfoil, Master Sgt. Frank Green, Tech. Sgt. Joseph Anderson, Staff Sgt. Michael Smith, and Staff Sgt. La'Tanya Ferguson.

The team authored the first-ever 21st Space Wing Integrated Defense Plan and documented the execution of the biggest shift in security forces operations in more than 40 years. The 500 page plan details the responsibilities for all integrated defense forces utilizing a capabilities based concept of operations. To complete the plan, the team convened and facilitated the newly formed Integrated Defense Working Group to conduct the Integrated Defense Risk Management Process and make recommendations to the installation commander. Finally, the team developed three unique checklists to ensure compliance with new guidance; Headquarters Air Force Space Command/A7S adopted the IDP and checklists as the command standard and one checklist was submitted as an Air Force Best Practice.
