FORT CARSON, Colo. --

U.S. Guardians assigned to Space Delta 8 - Satellite Communications and Navigational Warfare took flight on a U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook at Fort Carson, Colorado, Oct. 24, 2023. Seven of the Guardians reenlisted during a partnership effort with U.S. Army 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, giving the Guardians an opportunity to experience how their military satellite communication support impacts other missions. The flight landed at Training Area – 51 on Fort Carson where the Guardians completed their reenlistment ceremony.
