As Chief Lambert and I are getting ready to leave for our next journey, I want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude and share with you all a heartfelt farewell. Over the course of our time together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, overcome numerous challenges and became part of history. Reflecting upon our shared experiences, I am humbled by the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment each of you have shown. Your collective efforts drove our team to unprecedented heights, and I couldn't be prouder to have served as your Command Chief.
Together, we have navigated through many challenges and celebrated many victories. The way you have embraced challenges, pursued innovative solutions and supported one another is a testament to your determination to get the mission done while staying resilient as a force. Your talent, expertise and professionalism have been the driving force behind our success.
As you all know, I have always believed in fostering an environment of open communication, transparency, trust and respect. The synergy we have cultivated as a family has allowed us to challenge the status quo and create an atmosphere where everyone's contributions are valued. It has been an absolute privilege to witness all your diverse perspectives and watch the magic take place when we ALL come TOGETHER; truly embracing the “One Team, One Fight” motto…in the end we are better TOGETHER.
I also encourage you to continue with the strong bonds you have built within this team. Cherish the camaraderie, mentor one another and inspire those who follow in your footsteps. Each one of you possesses the ability to create a positive impact in your circle of influence no matter what your rank, position or title is. As John Maxwell said, “Leadership isn’t about titles, positions or flowcharts but about one life influencing another.” So, continue to be that leader that you want to see.
As I say “SEE YOU LATER” to all of you, I want to re-emphasize the significance of embracing change and continuous growth. The world we operate in is ever evolving and tomorrow’s high-end fight is upon us so as service members it is essential to adapt, learn and realize our fullest potential. I have every confidence that you will continue to excel in your respective roles, pushing boundaries and achieving EXTRAORDINARY results. Remember, greatness lies not in being stagnant but in challenging the limits of what we believe is possible, at the end SKY is no longer your only limit, SPACE is.
Finally, Chief Lambert and I extend our sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you for your support, trust and belief in us.
