Boy Scout Troop and Parents visit New Boston SFS

New Boston Space Force Station hosted 12 local Boy Scouts and 10 parents on April 20, 2023 for a site tour and mission brief. The scouts showed interest in theantennas and the World War II era ordnance on display from New Boston’s bombing range days (1942-1956). NBSFS is operated by the 23rd Space Operations Squadron, a geographically-separated unit of Space Delta 6.

Visiting NBSFS will help the scouts earn their Space Exploration Merit Badge and perhaps encourage a few to join the U.S. Space Force in the future.
