  • Medieval device will help teach STEM at STARBASE Academy

    Ian Porter, 12, son of Staff Sgt. Adam Porter, concert band operations manager for the U.S. Air Force Academy band, is heading to Germany. Since he cannot take the trebuchet along, he offered it to STARBASE. Smathers saw the potential to use the device as a teaching aid.

  • Team Pete participates in Feds Feed Families

    Feds Feed Families has kicked off its annual food drive, and boxes, ready for donations, can be seen at a wide array of locations on base. In an effort to combat hunger in the community, the 21st Space Wing is participating in this food drive, which began June 1 and will continue until Aug. 31.

    For the first time, Air Force Reservists from the 302nd Civil Engineer Squadron traveled to Gallup, N.M. to build homes for the Navajo Nation.
