Hyten visits 10th SWS
GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. – General John Hyten, Air Force Space Command commander, greets Lt. Col. Michelle Kneupper, 10th Space Warning Squadron commander, Dec. 22. During his visit, Hyten toured Cavalier Air Force Station and the Perimeter Acquisition Radar building and met with Airmen from the 10th SWS. The 10th SWS, located 15 miles south of the Canadian border, is one of the six installations operated by the 21st Space Wing, and provides missile warning and space surveillance data to North American Aerospace Defense Command, United States Strategic Command and regional combatant commanders.
