Julie Anderson, Health and Wellness Center registered dietitian, explains how increasing fruits and vegetables keeps a tummy full and reduces calorie intake. Beginning in March, which is National Nutrition Month, Ms. Anderson will place yellow stickers on the shelves in the base commissary to indicate which foods are “HAWC Approved” – meaning she has analyzed the nutrition charts on the foods for you.
