Peterson kicks off AFAF campaign

Col. Jim Jennings, 21st Space Wing vice commander, thanked Airmen March 29 at The Club who volunteered to be unit representatives for the 2011 Air Force Assistance Fund campaign on Peterson Air Force Base, underway now to May 6. Colonel Jennings said the AFAF has helped so many Airmen during times of emergency or family tragedy, including himself. There are more than 50 AFAF unit representatives who will take time in the next month to explain the campaign, the programs and the benefactors to every active-duty Airman and retired military personnel. The Peterson goal is to raise $91,615. (U.S. Air Force photo/Craig Denton)
