Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy
Staff Sgt. Heather Labadie, 16th Space Control Squadron, records the results from a vision test taken by an eighth-grader at Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy April 5. Seven Airmen from the 21st Space Wing volunteered to assist with the vision screening exams through the wing’s Adopt-A-School program. Airmen have adopted three schools in Colorado Springs District 11 as a way to engage Airmen and children. Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy uses space and aerospace themes and principles to teach subjects, including science, technology, engineering, the arts and math. (U.S. Air Force photo/Monica Mendoza)
