Vosler NCO coffin race
MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. -- Ghoulish Airmen from the Vosler NCO Academy push their entry in the Emma Crawford coffin race Oct. 27, 2012, in Manitou Springs, Colo. Pushing the coffin were (left to right) Master Sgt. John Hahm, Master Sgt. Todd Badger and Tech. Sgt. Craig Hatcher, and riding in the coffin was Master Sgt. Sharon Lawson. Their entry was inspired by the B-17 that Tech. Sgt. Forrest Vosler, the NCO Academy’s namesake, flew on. Vosler was the second enlisted Airman to ever receive a Medal of Honor. Team Vosler placed seventh out of 50 teams in the race. (U.S. Air Force photo/Chief Master Sgt. Gregory Stone)
