12th SWS takes Golden Knight award Published Dec. 15, 2009 By Staff Reports 21st Space Wing Public Affairs Office PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The July Golden Knight recipient is the 12th Space Warning Squadron - Operations Training section. The operations training section was critical to the 12th SWS's successful transition from the legacy weapon system to the $240 million Upgraded Early Warning Radar, the most significant capability upgrade in 22 years. Team members include Capt. Keith Harrigan, 1st Lt. Jandrew Taala, 1st Lt. Michelle Dieringer, 2nd Lt. Mark Crimm, Tech. Sgt. Blair Burdick, Staff Sgt. Yesenia Calizo, Staff Sgt. Michael Eickhoff and Staff Sgt. James Selix.
