SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- An individual assigned to Schriever was found dead Dec. 22.
“We are saddened by the tragic death of one of our Airmen,” said Col. Jennifer Grant, 50th Space Wing commander. “Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends and coworkers of Senior Airman Neill West, III.”
Base leaders are working with our civilian partners and internal Air Force helping agencies to provide counseling and support to our members throughout this difficult time.
Officials are confident there is no danger to the public related to this incident.
The incident is under investigation and next of kin have been notified.
