  • Clear opens its doors for Alaskan Natives

    The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines neighbors as one living or located near another, as in next-door neighbors or friends and neighbors, but does not define the distance. Separated by only 24 miles, Clear Air Force Station and Nenana, Alaska, are neighbors spending time getting reacquainted.

  • The buzz at Clear AFS is all about bees

    Tech Sgt. James Campbell, Alaska Air National Guard 213th Security Forces Squadron, is a beekeeper. He joins about 50,000 others in the U.S. who keep fewer than five hives. Campbell’s hives are located among the fields of Fireweed, a sought after flower for making honey, on the grounds of Clear AFS.
