A team of personnel from both Eglin Air Force Base and RAF Fylingdales was named the May Gold Knight award recipient.

The team included personnel from the 20th Space Control Squadron and RAF Fylingdales, North York Moors, England, space track team.

The team introduced an operator and analyst exchange program between RAF Fylingdales and the 20th SPCS May 13-17. The exchange allowed for technical discussions and demonstrations focused on each sensor's capabilities and recent developments of various innovations, tactics, techniques and procedures to improve mission execution. The cross-sharing of these innovations and procedures, as well as the building of relationships between the two sites, maximizes the effectiveness of both radars, and their people in support of USSTRATCOM's situational space awareness mission.

Team members include (from Eglin) Capt. Gary Spann, 2nd Lt. Celeste Crenshaw, Senior Airman Kaleb Gage, Marshall Gilmer, Kevin McKinion and Mark Starnes, and (from RAF Fylingdales) Flight Sgt. Christopher Waller, Sgt. Mark Pattinson, Lee Jackson and Robert Clarkson.
