Beginning this fall, the main Child Development Center on Paine Street will undergo a long awaited renovation that includes new flooring, painting, a customer service area and new nature play areas. The work is expected to be completed in four to six months.

During this renovation period, the Resource and Referral Child Care Office will be relocated temporarily to the Pete East CDC, in building 2004. Anyone wanting information on child care availability, requesting child care or needing temporary child care support should call the Pete East CDC at 556-7460 or 556-5144 and speak with Dennis or Heather.

Both the main CDC and the Pete East CDC have immediate openings for care within the pre-toddler, toddler and pre-school age grouping for all categories. For information, call 554-9572.

The Airman and Family Services Flight continues to support families balancing the competing demands of the Department of Defense mission and family life by managing and delivering quality, affordable programs and services for eligible children and youth from birth to 18 years of age.
