The Peterson Club announced its first Football Frenzy Club membership prize winner for the season.

Connie Gault won the first Football Frenzy Club membership prize drawing this season - an all-expense-paid trip to Glendale, Ariz., for the game between the Houston Texans and the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 10.

"I'm totally thrilled," Gault said. "I've never won anything of this magnitude."

The prize includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, rental car and tickets to the game.

Gault can take one guest, and she'll be accompanied by her husband, Freeman, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and an avid Denver Broncos football fan. When asked who they would be rooting for at the game, Freeman, without missing a beat, said "The Houston Texans, because their coach, Gary Kubiak, played for the Broncos and used to be the backup quarterback for John Elway." Loyalty runs deep.

So, too, does their Club membership. Connie has been a Club member since 1967 and Freeman since 1966. "We have so many fond memories over the years of socializing with people, the entertainment, and the variety of activities the clubs have offered worldwide."

Both Connie and Freeman patronize Monday Night Football at the Peterson Club because they can play bingo at the same time. And recently Connie not only took home a small prize playing bingo, she also got the phone call from Club manager Curtis Clayton announcing she had won the trip to Arizona.

With the game being played on Veterans Day weekend, Freeman said it'll be a thrill to attend since he's a veteran, and the pair is looking forward to a warm, sunny weekend in Arizona.
