On Nov. 6, a Summary Court-Martial convened here and found an airman first class from the 311th Airlift Squadron guilty of wrongful use of methylenedeioxymethamphetamine, known as MDMA. The court-martial sentenced the Airman to be reduced in rank to E-2, to be restricted to Peterson AFB for 20 days and to serve 14 days hard labor without confinement.

Due to the Air Force's zero tolerance drug abuse policy, all Airmen found to have used illegal substances, including those convicted at court-martial, are subject to a mandatory discharge process.
