During November, the 21st Security Forces Squadron, along with facility parking wardens, issued more than 260 traffic citations. Offenses included failing to stop and excessive speed, as well as driving without valid registration, license plate or driver's license. Drivers were suspended for various offenses including speeding, failing to wear restraints; unlawfully using a cell phone; unlawfully parking in a handicap area; and accumulating too many points on their record.

Tip of the Month (Traffic) - Colorado statute requires vehicle operators to display the same number of license plates they were issued. For example, Colorado issues two license plates when registering a vehicle. As such, both plates must be displayed; one on the front and one on the rear of the vehicle.

Calls for Service - Security forces responded to about 210 calls for service during November, including:
- 1 Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
- 25 human error alarm activations
- 12 medical responses
- 2 responses to the fitness center for thefts of unsecured property
- 2 responses to the Exchange for shoplifting

Tip of the Month (Crime Prevention) - Failing to lock up your items, including electronics, ID cards, and uniform items may result in theft. Whether you are on or off base, failing to lock up items can set you up to be a victim.

Off Base Incidents - Security forces received notification of off base arrests or incidents involving military members or government property. These included:
- 1 Theft of a government cell phone
- 1 DUI
- 1 incident of arson/destruction of property
- 1 incident of menacing with a weapon

Security forces also conducted more than 340 community policing patrols such as walkthroughs of dormitories and the fitness center.
