A total of 15 individuals assigned to Peterson AFB received Articles 15 during the first quarter of 2014. The Airmen were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

A technical sergeant from the 21st Dental Squadron received an Article 15 for violation of an order and adultery. The sergeant's punishment was reduction to E-5 and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 721st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to go. The senior airman's punishment was a reduction to E-3, with a suspended reduction to E-2 and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 721st SFS received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The airman first class's punishment was a reduction to E-3, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 721st SFS received an Article 15 for driving under the influence. The airman first class's punishment was a reduction to E-2 with a suspended reduction to E-1, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from 821st SFS received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The sergeant's punishment was a suspended reduction to E-4, 14 days extra duty, forfeitures of $681 and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 821st SFS received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The airman first class's punishment was a reduction to E-2, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 561st Network Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to go. The senior airman's punishment was a suspended reduction to E-3, forfeitures of $250, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A technical sergeant from the 21st Operations Support Squadron received an Article 15 for adultery. The sergeant's punishment was a reduction to E-5.

A master sergeant at Headquarters Air Force Space Command received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The sergeant's punishment was forfeiture of $200 per month for two months and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 21st Force Support Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to go. The senior airman's punishment was a suspended reduction to E-3 and suspended forfeitures of $1,017 per month for two months.

A staff sergeant from the 13th Air Support Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for disrespect to a superior NCO and for conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline. The sergeant's punishment was a reduction to E-4 and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 21st Medical Support Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The senior airman's punishment was a reduction to E-3 and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The senior airman's punishment was a reduction to E-2 and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 21st CES received an Article 15 for marijuana use. The sergeant's punishment was a reduction to E-4 and member is being processed for discharge.

An airman first class from the 21st SFS received an Article 15 for driving under the influence. The airman first class's punishment was a reduction to E-2, 15 days restriction to base, suspended forfeitures of $858 per month for two months and a reprimand.

(Editor's note: A suspended punishment means the action (whether loss of rank or pay) is suspended for a period of time -- usually six months. If the individual maintains the standards of discipline during the time period, the punishment is removed. However, if the individual commits any further misconduct during the suspension period, then the commander may vacate the suspension and impose the suspended punishment.)
