ASOPS gets new commander
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Maj. Gen. Stephen Denker, director of Integrated Air, Space, Cyberspace and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Operations, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, passes the Advanced Space Operations School flag to Lt. Col. Matthew Bertsch who assumed command of the squadron July 13. Bertsch will lead a team providing career-long space system and deployment training for the National Security Space community and space orientation programs for all of the Department of Defense.
