It was a night full of entertainment Oct. 26 for the 10th Space Warning Squadron in Cavalier, ND.

Cavalier AFS hosted a fun-filled Harlem Ambassadors event at Cavalier Public School where the CAFS Instigators, a hodge-podge group of local talent and members of Cavalier AFS, took on the famous Harlem Ambassadors.

Earlier in the day, the Ambassadors delivered a serious anti-bullying message encased in an interactive show during a school assembly. The evening show offered a unique brand of basketball, featuring high-flying slam dunks, ball-handling tricks, comedy routines, music, dancing, and games for the kids.

"I've never had so much fun being graciously humiliated in front of a crowd of over 200 people," said 2nd Lt. Evan Westbrook, 10th SWS and member of the CAFS Instigators.  "It was an honor and a privilege to be utterly dominated in every aspect of the game."

"This was a fantastic event bringing the 10th SWS team and Cavalier public together to share an electric and entertaining event," said Lt. Col. John Koehler II, commander of the 10th Space Warning Squadron and CAFS Instigators player. "It was my honor to bring the Harlem Ambassadors to our Cavalier community,"

The Harlem Ambassadors provide fundraising and entertainment events to non-profit organizations, community groups, and the U.S. military. They have helped community service organizations raise over $9 million since 1998. In addition to providing fundraising events, the Harlem Ambassadors entertain the troops at U.S. military bases overseas and at home.
