Base telephone operator assistance support to cease March 25 Published March 22, 2016 21st Communications Squadron PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- As a result of a reduction in civilian manning, telephone operator assistance support will cease on March 25. Effective March 26, personnel calling operator assistance by dialing '0' from a base phone or 556-7321 from an off-base phone will be directed to the automated bulletin board which provides frequently called numbers. In addition, the Public Affairs office has posted a comprehensive list of phone numbers at www.peterson.af.mil labeled 'Peterson AFB Telephone Directory'. Additionally, Peterson AFB has obtained new teleconference bridges which can support up to 40 concurrent callers. Users can find the new Conference Bridge lines at https://org1.eis.af.mil/sites/AFSPC/PhoneBridge/Peterson/default.aspx. The old Peterson Conference Bridge site and conferences will no longer be available after March 31. If users have conferences on the old bridge they will need to schedule them on the new bridge. When participating in conferences users must follow the rules of engagement listed below: - Use DSN: 631-7352 or Comm: (301) 909-7352 to access the teleconference bridge - Conferences currently scheduled via the "old" system will NOT migrate to the new system o All requests must be made through the SharePoint site listed above - Users MUST self-police their conference calls...i.e. start and end on time - Users will not receive a warning or termination tone prior to the conference expiring - Users should not enter conferences before the scheduled time, it will interfere with other calls - Conferences require a chairperson PIN which will be emailed to the POC at time of scheduling For questions, please contact the 21 CS/SCO team at 21cs.sco.wf@us.af.mil
