PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- On April 11, 2026 the 302d Maintenance Group recognized the top performing members with an awards ceremony, celebrating their commitment to the mission and service to our nation.
The Maintenance Group's mission is to maintain mission readiness of the eight C-130 Hercules aircraft assigned to the 302d AW to ensure the wing's support of tactical airlift and airdrop missions, Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System support missions and the Aeromedical Evacuation mission.
The Maintenance Professional of the Year ceremony is an annual event designed to recognize the outstanding performance, achievements and hard work of the 302d MCG's Airmen and civilian personnel within the maintenance and munitions career fields.
