PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs flew on a 302d Airlift Wing C-130H Hercules aircraft at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado on Apr. 8, 2026. The flight was intended to provide the cadets with exposure to Air Force operations and help them to understand the many opportunities that await them after graduation.
U.S. Air Force Maj. Nate Dickey, Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 105 cadre, flew with the cadets and said mentoring these future Airmen is an honor.
"The exciting thing for me is to discover the unique challenges the cadets in the AF ROTC are facing and helping them navigate through each one."
