PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman visited with units assigned to Space Delta 7 - Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance during an immersion at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, May 31, 2024. The DEL 7 immersion allowed Saltzman the opportunity to speak with members of the 72nd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron and the greater DEL 7 team — learning how the units provide critical, time-sensitive and actionable intelligence for space domain operations to allow for the detection, characterization and targeting of adversary space capabilities.
