The 21st Space Wing's commander and chief master sergeant paid a visit to the 6th Space Warning Squadron at Cape Cod Air Force Station, Mass., March 16.

Col. Jay Santee and Chief Master Sgt. Timothy Omdal toured the site and got a mission brief, and met with leadership including Coast Guard and Army officials.

"All members of the 6th Space Warning Squadron were excited to meet Col. Santee and Chief Omdal," said Lt. Col. Christopher Gentry, 6th SWS commander. "Their visit gave us, Team 6, an opportunity to show how proud we are to accomplish our early warning and space control missions."

The 6th SWS, a 21st Space Wing geographically separated unit, provides accurate and timely missile warning and space control data, and deploys Warrior Airmen for the protection of the United States and Allied interests.
