AOR promotion
Staff Sgt. Kyle Snyder, a 21st Space Wing space operator, was promoted in a forward location in Southwest Asia, March 31. Sergeant Snyder is deployed from the 21st Operations Group in direct support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
Sergeant Snyder was promoted to his new rank by Maj. Carolyn Wood, 21st OG, in front of a B-1B bomber. The flag was flown over Iraq aboard a JSTARS aircraft and was a special presentation to commemorate his promotion in the AOR.
This deployment is unique in that it is supported entirely by 21st SW, 21st OG, and 26th Space Aggressor Squadron personnel. (U.S. Air Force photo)
