This year's Air Force Assistance Fund "Commitment to Caring" campaign here, March 3 to April 11, has provided Airmen the opportunity to contribute to any of the four official Air Force charitable organizations. These include the Air Force Aid Society, Air Force Enlisted Village Indigent Widow's Fund, Air Force Village Indigent Widow's Fund, and the Gen. and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation. All contributions directly benefit active-duty, Reserve, Guard, retired Air Force people, surviving spouses and families.

After the fifth week of the campaign, Peterson has raised $63,939, which is 81 percent of its goal.

Members interested in contributing to the campaign can see their respective unit project officer at www.peterson.af.mil. Click on the AFAF graphic for contact information. People can contribute through cash, check, money order or payroll deduction. Contributions to the AFAF are tax deductible.
