PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Tech. Sgt. John. Grijalva II was selected for this week's First Knight award. This award is designed to recognize outstanding Airmen each week for the work they do each day.

How has joining the Air Force impacted your life? "Joining the Air Force has impacted every facet of my life. I've been given the opportunity to learn a skill, become better educated and give back to my country. I feel extremely privileged to wear the uniform, and I hope when my time is up, I'll have made a bigger impact on the Air Force than the Air Force has made on me. That will definitely be the toughest task of my career! "
