Love to bake? Not so much? Either way, the Peterson Spouses Club needs your help this December.

The spouses club is running its annual Cookies for the Troops Program Dec. 15 and 16 and is seeking donations of cookies and other goodies as well as volunteers to help make it happen. The cookies are given to Peterson's young Airmen living in the dorms.

Bakers are asked to drop off a few batches of their favorite cookies from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the base chapel on Dec. 15 and 16. Non-bakers can donate cocoa packets and individually wrapped candies for the care packages, or they can volunteer their time and help stuff the gift bags from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Dec. 16, at the chapel.

Last year, Cookies for the Troops was able to provide dozens of cookies to more than 400 Airmen. Their goal is to provide 419 Airmen with a dozen and a half cookies each this year, which means the spouses club will need 630 dozen donated cookies.
