If you were Chief of Staff of the Air Force for a day, how would you change the Air Force?
If I were Chief of Staff of the Air Force for the day, I would implement a mandatory three times a week unit physical training program. I believe Airmen should have an attitude that fitness is an individual responsibility, however, I also think it should be instilled in the Air Force as a way of life. As Wingmen, we need to also be held accountable for the fitness of the Airman running beside us. Mandatory PT would help us pull together as a team and make sure no Airman falls behind.

Why selected:
As the NCOIC of the Community Health Element, Sergeant Berry ensures the safety and security of the $140-million-a-month food supply for Peterson, Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station and Schriever Air Force Base. She coordinates the inspection of over 35 food and public facilities every month, as well as identifies and ensures removal of Food and Drug Administration- recalled food items. Sergeant Berry conducts daily surveillance of illnesses affecting our base population, serving as an early warning system for potential terrorist activity. She received the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal during a recent humanitarian deployment to Honduras. "Sergeant Berry exemplifies the core values and serves as an outstanding role model for junior Airmen." -- Tech Sgt. Howard Santos, 21st AMDS supervisor.
