Peterson to implement barrier plan Published Jan. 20, 2009 21st Space Wing Public Affairs PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Peterson AFB will exercise its Antiterrorism Barrier Plan Jan. 22 and 23. Base personnel will experience temporary parking restrictions while the plan is exercised over the 48-hour period, and reduced parking areas will cause some customers some inconvenience. Every attempt will be made to reduce conflict while base officials exercise this plan. Affected areas include: - The base fitness center parking lot, Building 560; all patrons are encouraged to park across Ent Avenue or in the parking lot adjacent to the former enlisted club, - Southbound traffic on Peterson Boulevard reduced down to one lane, in front of Building 1470 -- near the base auditorium and chapel, - The base medical clinic, Building 959, parking lot adjacent to Vincent Street, - All dormitory parking lots, - The Child Development Center, Building 1350. Wing officials ask for your support and patience while they exercise this plan.
