Street shoes not allowed in certain gym areas Published March 2, 2009 21st FSS Marketing PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The Fitness & Sports Center is asking PAFB personnel to forgo wearing street shoes on the basketball courts, racquetball courts and aerobics rooms. Shoes worn outside pick up stones that mar the wood floors. Please carry exercise/court shoes into the gym. Our goal is to have the wood floors remain in the best condition possible for as long as possible as it is very expensive to have the floors refinished. We ask all our patrons to respect our facilities by complying with the rules. If you have questions, contact the Fitness Center at 719-556-4462.
