War Fit

21st Space Wing Airmen perform warm-up exercises such as jogging in place, jumping jacks, pushups, mountain climbers and more at the beginning of each monthly wing War Fit. Warming up and cooling down are essential in fitness activity to avoid injury and increase flexibility. Wing War Fit is one way the 21st Space Wing showcases one aspect of the mission: Developing and deploying Warrior Airmen to defend America and our Allies.

War Fit

The monthly program is one of the many venues the 21st Space Wing uses to encourage Airmen to always be ready to fight.

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Airmen take part in Back to Basics during February's wing War Fit program. Back to Basics consists of strength training and cardio intervals, all key elements in maintaining good fitness standards year round. The War Fit program is a monthly exercise activity that prepares Airmen to be fit-to-fight.
