Last good book read: "When to Shut Up and When to Speak Up," by Dr. Michael D. Sedler. This book helped me learn my place in the military and understand the importance of allowing allow others who have more wisdom than I do to speak up.
If you were Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force for one day, how would you change the Air Force? I would put a shadow training program into effect for every Airman, not only enlisted to enlisted, but enlisted to officer as well. This would broaden every Airman's experience, give them a better view of the "big picture" and help us all understand what really goes on across the board.

Favorite thing about being in the Air Force? There are so many: a sense of belonging, a sense of doing something good and trying to make the world a better place.
What do you like most about being an Airman? Being an Airman had broadened my perspective and taught me how to be selfless.

Why selected? "Airman Schiell is a valuable member of the Peterson Fitness and Sports Center staff and the 21st Force Support Squadron. She shined during a recent operational readiness inspection scenario by correctly identifying all emergency medical procedures required for a customer suffering a heart attack.
