Base legal officials recently announced the Article 15 actions and discharges for May 2009.

Article 15s
A staff sergeant assigned to the 12th Space Warning Squadron received an Article 15 for a violation of Article 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice, Dereliction of Duty, for misusing a government travel card. The sergeant received a reduction to the rank of senior airman, forfeiture of $1,109 pay for two months suspended and a reprimand.

An airman first class assigned to the 21st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for a violation of Article 107, UCMJ, False Official Statement, for lying about a hit and run accident, and a violation of Article 92, UCMJ, Dereliction of Duty, for driving recklessly. The member received a reduction to airman and a reprimand.

Administrative discharges
A senior airman assigned to the 21st Aerospace Medicine Squadron received an Involuntary Administrative Discharge for Commission of a Serious Offense pursuant to Air Force Instruction 36-3208, Administrative Separation of Airmen, paragraph 5.52.3. This Airman received an under honorable conditions, or general service characterization.
An airman first class assigned to the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron received an Involuntary Administrative Discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions pursuant to AFI 36-3208, Administrative Separation of Airmen, paragraph 5.49. This Airman received an under honorable conditions, or general, service characterization.

An Airman assigned to Headquarters Air Force Space Command received an Involuntary Administrative Discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions and Failure to Progress pursuant to AFI 36-3208, Administrative Separation of Airmen, paragraph 5.49 and 5.26.3. This Airman received an under honorable conditions, or general, service characterization.

An airman first class assigned to the 21st Communications Squadron received an Involuntary Administrative Discharge for Failure to Progress pursuant to AFI 36-3208, Administrative Separation of Airmen, paragraph 5.26.3. This Airman received an under honorable conditions, or general, service characterization.

An Airman assigned to the 721st Security Forces Squadron received an Involuntary Administrative Discharge for Pattern of Misconduct pursuant to AFI 36-3208, Administrative Separation of Airmen, paragraph 5.49. This Airman received an under honorable conditions, or general, service characterization.
