Ray Bowden 21st Space Wing Public Affairs PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Five 21st Space Wing technical sergeants recently graduated the six week Noncommissioned Officers Academy course held at the Forrest L. Vosler NCO Academy. This course is a career milestone for NCOs as they must graduate the NCOA before being promoted to master sergeant. "This is big career step for our NCOs as they transition toward becoming senior NCOs," said Chief Master Sgt. Tim Omdal, 21st SW command chief. "The NCOA is one of the most important and career enhancing courses our Airmen take as it prepares them to be professional war-fighters at the operational level." The 21st Space Wing NCOA graduates are: Tech. Sgt. Joel Bauman, 76th Space Control Squadron; Tech. Sgt. Cheryl Benefield, 721st Communications Squadron; Tech. Sgt. Sheldon Briggs, 21st Force Support Squadron; Tech. Sgt. Alexander Thompson, 21 Civil Engineer Squadron; and Tech. Sgt. Brandon Alvey, 721 CS.
