How has joining the Air Force impacted your life? The Air Force has helped me find a career path. Before joining the Air Force, I was lost and unhappy with my jobs. I had no sense of accomplishment.

If you were Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force what would you change? I would change our PT uniform to be more comfortable and quiet.

What do you like most about being an Airman? The sense of being a part of a family no matter where you are.

What is your favorite thing about serving in the Air Force? The feeling of accomplishment and contribution.

Why selected: Staff Sgt. Borel is quite honestly a "super troop." She undeniably hit the ground running after arriving from Schriever in February, and has very quickly become a great operator.  During the 2009 21st OG Ops Standardization Team Inspection, she was named a "professional performer." Additionally, she was recently selected to support the 21st Operations Group commander in her challenging operations evaluation. Staff Sgt. Borel has exceeded expectations thus far and we expect big things from her in the future. - Master Sgt. Christopher Terrio, 76th Space Control Squadron Combat Operations Flight chief
