How has joining the Air Force impacted your life?
The Air Force has taught me how to be independent and has not only given me leadership skills, but also the confidence to be a leader. Additionally, the Air Force has taught me when to step back and be a follower.

If you were chief master sergeant of the Air Force for one day, what would you change?
I would extend the Cardiovascular run from 1.5 miles to 2 miles because I believe it would challenge Airman more, and show them that they can do anything they put their mind to.

What is your favorite aspect about being in the Air Force?
Putting on the uniform every single morning and knowing that every morning I get up, I am making a difference.

What do you most like about being an Airman?
Being a part of something bigger and better than me; I take so much pride in wearing my uniform, because when civilians see you they know you're making a difference.

Why selected: Airman Dunagan was selected for the outstanding job he has done from mentoring his fellow Airmen from the First Term Airmen's Center to his work place within the dining facility. He is always the first to volunteer and he makes it clear he enjoys being a part of a team. He has set high goals for himself and proven that he has what it takes to achieve all he sets his mind to while encouraging others to set their own goals. - Capt.
