Public Affairs, Safety Offices relocate due to construction Published Nov. 30, 2009 By Monica Mendoza 21st Space Wing Public Affairs PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo -- The 21st Space Wing Public Affairs and Safety operations are temporarily moving due to office renovation. Public affairs operations will relocate to Building 418, on Vincent Street, and wing safety operations will move to the first floor of Building 845, room 107, effective Nov. 30. The construction project, which will expand the current PA and safety offices, is expected to continue through February. Telephone numbers for PA and Safety remain the same. PA can be reached at 556-5185. PA is responsible for providing the 21st SW leadership with timely and effective public affairs guidance on unit and public issues. The office has a 24-hour on-call PA representative who can be reached through the 21st SW Command Post at 556-4555. Safety provides guidance, policy and resources for the preservation of assets and personnel through identification, management and reduction of risk. The Safety office supports and maintains the command's ability to provide and support combat forces through mishap prevention. Safety can be reached at 556-8001.
