Peterson Red Cross branch realigns Published Feb. 11, 2010 By Cathy Douglas American Red Cross Branch Chairman COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Peterson American Red Cross branch office recently moved from Building 350 to its Pikes Peak chapter office in Colorado Springs. To ensure the chapter network remains strong and vibrant, the Red Cross is working to closely align operations across the organization - such as service delivery, fundraising, and volunteer recruitment - to be the most efficient and effective. The goal is to provide world-class programs and services to the communities it serves. The move is meant to organize its operations so it has the resources to deliver vital core services every day; raise more money by speaking to donors with one voice; save time and money by streamlining back-office work across the organization; and create compelling and consistent marketing messages to tell the Red Cross story. The office is located at 1040 South 8th St., and is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. For information about volunteering, services to the Armed Forces (including information fair attendance and pre- and post-deployment briefings), CPR, first aid or other health and safety training information, disaster services and any other Red Cross service, call 632-3563 or e-mail info@pparc.org.
