Police services captures Gold Knight Published June 23, 2011 PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The 21st Security Forces Squadron Police Services Section is the May Gold Knight recipient. The police services section took the lead on two short notice fallen Airmen arrivals and soundly led the security and escort of the procession through a cordon of hundreds of base personnel. They also formulated and led a security task force that secured the Armed Forces 5K/10K run event of more than 300 participants, numerous vendors, and celebrities. The section also organized and ensured that eight security forces personnel were trained on newly installed security equipment at the base gates and provided active shooter defense security at three mass gatherings. Finally, they coordinated the secure bed down of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbird Demonstration Team. Team members include Master Sgt. Keith Lundberg, Tech. Sgt. Matthew Heenan and Staff Sgt. Tandra Sudman.
