Wing runs in 14th AF challenge
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Col. Chris Crawford (center), 21st Space Wing commander, gathered a team of runners for a 14th Air Force wing running challenge. The team had 10 runners of varying ranks -- both enlisted and officers -- including at least four females as well as the command chief, vice commander and wing commander. Pictured (left to right) are Staff Sgt. Julie Sabin, Senior Airman Julian Fiorina, Col. Jeffrey Flewelling, Crawford, Chief Master Sgt. Thomas Trottier, 1st Lt. Alyssa Tetrault and Lt. Col. Steven Clancy. The team ran Oct. 5, 2011, at the fitness center track, and posted a time of 25:39 for the five mile relay run. The challenge pits wings against each other to see who could record the fastest combined five-mile run time. The results will be announced at the 14th AF video teleconference in November.
