Comm squadron team takes Gold Knight honors Published Oct. 19, 2011 PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The 21st Communications Squadron Load Transfer Team was named a Gold Knight recipient. The team spent numerous hours supporting the successful management of a complete power transfer to Building 1038 with no impact to operations, ensuring first responder command and control communications functioned before, during and after the transfer. The project also included properly shutting down and restoring a vital voice switch system.
