Deployment team grabs Gold Knight Published Oct. 21, 2011 PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The 21st Space Wing Deployment Control Center team was named the Gold Knight recipient for September. The team led the largest ever 302nd Airlift Wing exercise that included the 302nd AW's active duty associate unit, the 52nd Airlift Squadron. The exercise was conducted to prepare the units for their scheduled 2012 Operational Readiness Inspection. The flyaway deployment to Volk Field, Wisc., and redeployment took nine days and coordinated the movement of 23 units, spanning three major commands including Air Force Space Command, Air Force Mobility Command and Air Force Reserve Command. Team members include: Charles Burnham, Harvey Kraft and Jason Mathew, 2nd Lts. Bradley Boswell and Kevin Slaughter, Tech. Sgts. Brittney Canezaro, Michele Armstrong and Jesus Osuna, Staff Sgts. Yolanda Yu and Ronald Benson, and Senior Airmen Gary Christensen and April Herboth.
