PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The 821st Support Squadron Civil Engineering Flight was named the June Gold Knight recipient for their superior performance. The team identified fire safety deficiencies; environmental, safety and occupational health compliance assessment and management program limiting factors; and completed corrective action plans.

They were first on scene to respond to a vehicle accident. The 821st SPTS CE flight oversaw recovery and patient transport in less than 30 minutes. They managed a $28 million dorm project, ensuring improved quality of life amenities for more than 50 Airmen.

The team members include Capt. Robert Marcucci, 1st Lt. Michael Hanagan, Master Sgts. Peter Brestak, Jason Wallace, and Tech. Sgts. Adam Giessman and Rhonda Howansky.
