U.S. Air Force Maj. Jason Wyman, Space Delta 6 – Cyberspace Operations, 21st Space Operations Squadron, Detachment 1 commander, takes command on June 28, 2021. Det. 1 is the only remote tracking station located in the southern hemisphere and provides strategic satellite command and control capability for the Space Control Network and Global Positioning System.
