PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The Airman’s Attic at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, will reopen on April 6, 2021.
The Airman’s Attic is a shop of used and new items and is available to military members and their family members with the ranks of E-5 or below. The shop has been closed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“All shop items are free and are in great condition,” said Nona Daugherty, Airman and Family Readiness Center volunteer program manager. “Stock is always changing so it’s a great idea to regularly visit the Attic.”
All items at the Attic are donated and include children’s clothing, household goods, books, movies, shoes, accessories and much more. The Airman’s Attic also has a food pantry with non-perishable items for the taking. Within the Airman’s Attic is a donated military clothing section and is available to all military members, regardless of rank.
The hours of operation will be every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Building 1525, off of Selfridge St. and South Peterson Blvd. For more information on donations and operations please contact the Peterson Airman’s Attic at 719-556-3215.
